People say that you do good then you go to heaven, you do bad then you go to hell.
This is should be the other way around - if you are in heaven then you do good and if you are in hell then you do bad or mean things.
Let me explain. In heaven means that you are already enlighten or manage to drop all your attachments from your inner system. This means you are meeting with the truth, reality or the divine. Then you cannot do anything but true love because you are already LOVE.
In hell means that you are still like any other people on earth, still full of attachments or false self, then automatically all the thing that you do is to fulfill your attachments in other words you do 'bad' thing.
This is what most people understand from the church, and this is the biggest obstacle to meet God. When people believe that he has to do god so that he could go to heaven, then violence bound to happen. This is the violence to our self, we force ourselves to do good to people. The problem is we don't have LOVE yet because we are not enlighten, so where do we get the LOVE from? We cannot share what we don't have. When we force ourself to do good to other people, we cannot help ourself but to expect other people will do the same from us. This is where the violence to other people comes in. We are practicing violence to ourselves then in return we are practicing violence to other people by demanding our love back from them.
Remember we are still full of attachments, so our Loves to people will always be conditional, in other words not real LOVE.
The real test comes to LOVE our enemy, how could we do this ? We could not love our enemy, this is impossible if we have still our attachments. The reason why a person become an enemy is the fact that I have attachments. If I don't have one then nobody could become our enemy. Then to love our enemy become possible.
